Created from the 'Stanford Torus' painting by Don Davis (which is in the public domain).
Some of the things I have added:
-A nearby star
-Bloom. Lots of bloom
-Added minor 2d abstraction to the bloom's volume
-Texture
-Text
-Rough border and flattening. To give it that ISO50 postcard look
-Subtle human photographic elements (these are from family photos)
Uses some brushes by Jenn's Sanity

This has to be one of my favourite type of spacestation. Really good pic. Great use of the amily photo.
